2.The signification of ¡°DING¡± Brand
It means a kind of current brand. It¡¯s the pronoun of fiberglass wallcovering.
3.Much heavier, much better for wallcovering?
Some people think that if the wallcovering is heavier, it will cost more raw materials, as a result, the cost will be higher, and its quality should be better. In fact, such opinion is not true as the weight of each square meter wallcovering has nothing important to do with its quality. In some cases, although the wallcovering is very heavy, it¡¯s poor in third dimension and blurred with its patterns due to many factors from different processes such as the selection of raw material, the weaving techniques, after-treatment etc.
4.Is the wallcovering unqualified if there¡¯re little holes on wallcovering surface?
Little holes on the wallcovering surface are allowed, and its effect is final up to the patterns. Without any holes or third dimension, a piece of wallcovering will not show any aesthetic feeling after coating.
5.The fiberglass wallcovering is introduced to be non-flaming, but why the middle level of the wallcovering is burnable?
Our fiberglass wallcovering is made from quartz, which is a kind of natural flame retardant material and it is bearable for a high temperature of 1000¡æ. After weaving, it is very soft, but it is easily to be distorted. For the convenient of transportation and construction, the fiberglass wallcovering is coated with a kind of filler, of which the major component is biological starch, that¡¯s the reason why the fiberglass wallcovering is non-flaming. However, once the wallcovering is hanged on the wall, a sort of chemical combination reaction will occur between the filler and the coating and paint on wallcovering, so the wallcovering will become non-flaming, anyway, it will not release any toxic substances in such high temperature. (Here pl kindly note that we could make the wallcovering flame retardant by adding some fire retarding agents, but we couldn¡¯t do in this way. Although the fire retarding agent is non-flaming, it will release some toxic substances when heated. From this point of view, non-flaming doesn¡¯t mean it is safe. )
The excellent flame retardant of ¡°Ding¡± fiberglass wallcovering has been proved by National Research Center for Fireproof Construction Materials. The correct testing method is to test the actual facing when hung. It¡¯s wrong to judge its combustibility only by using light fire.
6.FAQ in fiberglass wallcovering application.
£¨1£©With the obvious joints. There¡¯re two reasons:
- Pay less attention to the weaving designs and patterns.
- Too tight or too loose when connecting joints.
£¨2£©Less gloss and third dimension on wallcovering surface, with some fabric threads due to three mainly reasons.
- Choosing an unsuitable kind of paint.
- Painting in an improper amount.
- Roll the paint in a crossed way.
£¨3£©The wallcovering surface protrudes due to the following three reasons.
a) Coating unequally.
b) Being lack of coating.
c) Too late for painting.
£¨4£©With the blurred patterns after painting due to four reasons.
a) Coating too much.
b) Dirt on wallcovering surface.
c) With less amount of paint.
d) Roll the paint in a crossed way.
£¨5£© We usually suggest it¡¯s better to choose middle-gloss paint or high-gloss paint instead of low-gloss paint. Why?
As most of low-gloss paints are composed of great amount of solid elements, the patterns on wallcovering will be blurred easily after painting. |
